Hi Tony,

You can find your Bitcoin (BTC) or Bitcoin Cash (BCH) address for receiving payments in the Receive section of the **[Bitcoin.com wallet](https://wallet.bitcoin.com/)**. It will be the long string of numbers and letters directly below the QR code for that address.

All Bitcoin (BTC) addresses will start with the number '1' or "3" and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) addresses will either start with the number "1" for the old legacy format, the letter "q" for the new BCH address format or "C for the Bitpay address format.
You can swap between the new address format, legacy format and the Bitpay format by tapping on the options under the address.

You can switch between your BTC and BCH addresses at the bottom of the page by tapping on the wallet name.

**If you do not see the BCH address starting with the letter "q" please update your wallet to the latest version.**

Please note that this address will change every time you receive a payment, however all previously used addresses can continue to receive payments into your wallet.

Please read our **[Getting Started](https://www.bitcoin.com/getting-started/)** section to learn more about Bitcoin, how it works and how to use it.

You may also find our **[FAQ section](https://www.bitcoin.com/faq)** and **[Wallet FAQ](https://walletsupport.bitcoin.com/)** pages very useful.
