I have no idea about mining but I do hire a bunch of people to work for me. Apparently, one of the employees stirred my interest in cryptocurrency and suggest I start mining with the bulky computers. Well, it's a design institute and the processors have good variants of the AMD GPUs I believe. Assuming these systems will have to be turned on and the room has to be operational 24/7, I'd like to keep it all protected. Are there any reliable home security systems which can deter possible burglary threats. I'll definitely be paying a huge sum for power so I can't afford losses.
Another important question- how effective is mining these days? I read that the blockchain reward gets halved every four years or so. Does that mean the rewards are low also considering the competition has increased considerably?
