Question About Storage
I plan on storing in an external HD but right now I just need to know a good eWallet that's FREE to download and everyone here, or at least most of you, trust. Suggestions??

In terms of free wallets, definitely look into Electrum as a desktop/laptop option--good security. As for mobile or web-based wallets, you can use the one provided with a coinbase account (not the safest option but alright in the meantime) or you can use a mobile wallet like, Mycelium, which has some features that support hardware wallets (I say this since you mentioned you are looking to ultimately use a hardware option).

The Bitcoin.com wallet is a good stable wallet, i use it daily.I plan on storing in an external HD but right now I just need to know a good eWallet that's FREE to download and everyone here, or at least most of you, trust. Suggestions??
It also gives you both a Bitcoin Core (BTC) and a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet by default. The wallet also has a ShapeShift feature built in to trade currencies from BTC to BCH and vise-versa.
