verification of Bitcoin holdings to a third party

Tue Dec 19, 2017 11:45 pm

How does one provide verification of their Bitcoin holdings to a third party in lieu of a statement. A brokerage firm is seeking to verify my Bitcoin holdings and needs to see a statement which shows date, account name, and balance of Bitcoins.
this seems like a pretty straight forward request but I am unable to figure out how to accomplish.
thanks-

Don't! That's why I don 't vote. You don't want anyone to see how many bitcoins you have and all your wallets. Anyway, you could say anything to a brokerage firm unless they know how to check what you've received with each address you give them. But just don't! Once you give that information out, you can assume that everyone knows it, whether or not you have a non-disclosure agreement with them.

Anyway, why go to a brokerage firm. I've never found an honest one yet, in years of looking... Just hold your coins and profit without having to pay broker's fees.

But was it that there were no intermediaries in these operations?
