All European Bitcoin Visa Debit Cards are Suspended

On January 5, 2018, Wave Crest Holding a company issuer of Bitcoin debit and virtual cards announced it was closing all of its Visa prepaid cards due to a change in operating permissions. As a result, all the cryptocurrency cards issued for customers in Europe became unavailable for POS payments and withdrawals.

This is only relevant as long as goods and services need to be purchased using fiat. As more and more shops add Bitcoin as a native payment method, it doesn't matter if you have a debit card or just pay directly with Bitcoin.

Of course we're not there just yet. But we're moving in the right direction, so hopefully soon we reach a point where news like this doesn't make headlines because nobody needs a visa card

A good alternative is to use the Advcash card, you can withdraw it with a low fee, and without any problems you can use this card for payment
