Hoping to help new Bitcoin users avoid scams...

Mon Jun 05, 2017 5:15 pm

I made this video to turn people away from Gladiacoin, but I'm hoping that it also makes people think twice they hear an offer that is too good to be true. Please pass this on to any friends/family that might be looking at this huge Ponzi.

"You don't know me, and you just met me, but I've got a great investment opportunity..."

Brilliant video, love it! We should repost and share this video not just for those people considering Gladiacoin but for those who are considering ANY NEW offer in the crypto currency world and for those that are completely new to Bitcoin.

Everyone (especially new folks) need to know that Bitcoin and crypto-currency is more similar to the ways of the world than different...it's a great idea and still subject to scams just like the world has seen for centuries. It's not bitcoin that brings scams, it's devious people who bring scams.

Thanks Ben. Can I request a video on your sunglasses collection?

Unfortunately, there are more scams in crypto than not, so carefully protect yourself in any scenario where money would change hands.

One of the latest scams are ico coins and altcoins with high premine.

Yeah, ICOs are the best scams because they can actually get away without being called an outright scam.

Almost certainly a ponzi scheme. They promise to "double your bitcoins in 90 days", which is hillariously unrealistic. Also, they push existing members into recruiting new members, which is how they are able to sustain the scam.

Hey guys - great work on this....

So I'd like to ask the exact opposite - how do you convince people that what you are peddling isn't actually a scam? (it reminds me of the saying, never trust anyone that says "trust me" - so yes, it's difficult!)...

I'm trying to start up a side project & without going into the details, it's struggling to find any form of traction. There's no claims of getting rich overnight or even asking for anything (apart from advise), but it still struggles....

Any advise would be very welcome! Thanks a lot

When I was a newbie in crypto made some mistakes that tought me how to invest properly. From my point of view community of the project is a big deal. If ICO or any other project has community chat, check it! Look around, ask question. That's what saved me from some major scams.

Also if you find something good or really bad, share information about it. So thank you for a video!
