Wow, while it makes sense seeing the HUGE flip from Infectious Diseases to Cancer, it's still shocking. Not something I really think about much, but the charts prompt it.
One the one hand, by controlling the diseases and other advancements we generally live longer, giving rise to the likelihood of cancer just due to the longer lives. But I still have to believe there's some effect from how we eat and what were exposed to in our environment that would also increase the chances of cancer occurring.
Idk, I'm curious now. Thanks for posting those charts!
