Mining without hardware or cloud mining?

Thu Nov 03, 2016 4:44 am

Not much needs to be said here except that i have had a troubling time finding mining capabilities through cloud mining and hardware.

*Although it may be because of my Mid 2007 iMac's specifications* (at bottom). I hope someone knows of a way around this i would love to get into BTC! :?:

iMac (20-inch Mid 2007)

Processor 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Memory 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM

Just for your information, if you're looking for profit, hardware / cloud mining is not the answer.

Why don't you try proof of stake coins? You buy them, and they generate interest.

Here is some info about it: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proof-of-stake

Can you suggest an option that is cheap but is profitable?

You could make your own coin and premine a porsion of it... No need for hardware there, maybe just a bit of sofware :)

Community won't be enthusiast about it but at least you get to feel the ride!

Anyone can make a coin but not everyone can make a coin have value and worth.

A purpose for the coin and community behind it is crucial.

What kind of options are you looking for? Can you narrow it up a bit?

(1) Im looking mainly to have a piece of mining hardware i can afford, but most importantly of all i want hardware that is cheap and profitable and works with an I mac. Or 2, a budget (*200$*, i know...) way of making my own piece of hardware. Thx help appreciated :D

Like I said though, mining isn't the answer if you're looking for profit. You spend a few hundred dollars on hardware and you're gonna make it back after a few years or so; So i'm pretty sure that's not something you would want.

Mining is NOT the way to make profit, unless you have millions of dollars to invest in hardware and have the balls to spend it all on it.

A staking coin would be a good idea, as it doesn't fry your hardware. But still I wouldn't recommend it.

You can always start your own ICO on for example Ethereum network. You will need to have a good idea though, coins don't increase in value by themselves. You need an idea people believe in.

Mining can still be profitable as well. Smaller GPU based mining rigs (6 gpu's) can go for a little as 2500,- when you build them yourself and will definitely have a return of interest within 6-12 months.
Kind regards,
Jake

Visit the site https://whattomine.com/ . Calculate your power and decide are you able to mine with the hardware you have or it's better to join to cloud mining. I suggest you to invest money in your own farm and join multimining.

Cloud (or remote) mining is the process of using hardware power to mine cryptocurrency (such as Bitcoin or Litecoin) remotely. This mining model came to existence due to the fact that the increasing difficulty of mining has made it unprofitable for mining enthusiasts to mine Bitcoins at home.

I have see this site for mining :- https://hashflare.io/r/70A8FFD7

It' better to spend money for hardware and it will make you earn much more money than cloud mining. So think

What is the catch with cloud mining anyway? It seems that if it was free money people would not sell it like that.

Mining it self is the original source of earning bitcoins. Cloud mining are platforms that bridge the gap between purchasing expensive mining hardware and investing. With as little as $100 you can invest in cloud mining.

Yeah there is a problem with fraudsters, that’s why you need to make inquiries and seek expert opinion on where to invest your funds. if you are looking for a reliable platform, The best cloud mining platform I have encountered and I can vouch for it reliability is Hashnow ASIC & FPGA Cloud Mining . They are unique and boast of outstanding features like:

• Powerful high tech modern processors used for cloud mining and information processing on the blockchain network.

• State of the earth mining farms, with about 300,000 KW of power supply.

• Most advanced mining hardware available.

• Unbeatable and dynamic profit margins.

• Over 15 cryptocurrencies available for mining, including the top 5 most profitable cryptocurrencies to mine.

From my experience their profits are the best and no difficulty withdrawing your profits. Do well to check it out and invest.
