Re: 37 Days to SegWit: When SegWit is live!

The activation would require 1 two week period of difficulty adjustment followed by a 2 week grace period. Both BIP148 and segwit 2X are targeted to begin aound the end of July / beginni...

Why do we value cryptocurrencies?

Why do we value cryptocurrencies? I hold two coins currently, i wish i held more, but i want to get that out there now. Why do we hold onto these coins? I hold mine because I treat them like stocks, without the ownership. They are a show of good faith towards the developers. But why do we hold them?...

First time crypto investor looking to invest mostly in Ethereum and litecoins. Coinbase looks pretty good but any additional providers/specific features to look out for when choosing one would be really helpful.

Re: What happens when bitcoin implements lightning network or ethereum implements raiden? How will any coin surpass the

LTC is already months ahead, the gap will only continue to grow. LTC will remain agile and innovate.
BTC isn't going to all of a sudden become agile and start upgrading like mad. It's going to continue to be a political clusterfuck where every upgrade is roadblocked and delayed needlessly.
