AntPool mines second classic block

Wed Feb 17, 2016 7:08 pm

The second Classic block has been found a few hours ago.

Where the first classic block was found by the (relatively small) Bitcoin Classic community mining pool run by hellobitcoinworld, the second one has been found by a large miner.

There is support from bitcoin businesses on this move:

AntPool is running Classic on just one of it's nodes. We can be sure they are very carefully measuring how this system is performing and comparing it in detail with all their other nodes. If they switch more nodes over, it is a sign to other miners that just maybe it is safe to proceed.

Here's the second block on blockchain.info:

Another step in the right direction, and really that is all that it takes: keep taking steps - as long as they are in the right direction the destination will be reached.
Excited about the potential of Bitcoin Cash in the beautiful country of Belize.
