CRACKNET - Whitepaper and discussion

Sun Aug 25, 2019 2:42 pm

Hello guys,

I am developing a system that will enable users to recover passwords by using Ethereum to securely pay other crackers when they solve the password via escrow.

In it it is discussed the volatility of password hashes.

VOLATILE
Access to the target (data or webservice or software) may be restricted if the guardian discovers the attack.

INVOLATILE
There is no means for access to the target to be restricted if the guardian discovers the attack.

We can see that in instances when an individual is cracking an OS keychain hash to regain access to their own machine they are attacking an involatile target, which will have a low risk in using CrackNet.
We can also see that online webservices are volatile targets and there will be a greater risk of using a public uneditable system such as Ethereum to crack password hashes.
However given the large amount of webservices online it is likely they will still be vulnerable.

Please comment below.

PS. I do not encourage , endorse or recommend breaking the law
