Was purse.io hacked?

Something phishy is going on over there, with all the purse.io "hacking" claims from TODAY on different forums. I wonder what's going on. Does anyone on this forum use Purse, that can verify??

We have received word today of unauthorized password reset notification emails. We are aware of the issue and have secured all funds. All user balances are accounted for and upon completing our investigation, service will resume shortly.

@pursio Great work taking down a service if it's believed to be compromised in any way. I wish more services would do the same.

Our investigation is still ongoing, but current information leads us to believe that one of our third-party email service providers was compromised causing unauthorized password resets for some users. We discovered this quickly, secured funds, and reset tokens for affected users. All funds are secure, and service has been resumed.

yeah new things again on bitcoin affected site hacked, I think the need to pay attention to the quality of the security of the site itself before you have an account on the site bitcoin

I just want to mention how amazing I think the response from the Purse team was.
They were all over every Bitcoin discussion platform I know of, and instantly replying to people's concerns.

Several users of Purse.io, a P2P service provider allowing to shop on Amazon with bitcoins, reported receiving unauthorized password reset emails which was quickly followed by unauthorized withdrawals of money from their accounts.

For those who hail from countries that use dot (.) to separate decimals, that's 10 BTCs and change, not 10k BTCs
Quite a small amount compared to previous bitcoin related breaches, AFAIK it has been paid back.
