Can't android bitcoin.com wallet send BCH to old legacy format address ?

i am looking for help/answer

I have been able to send tips with https://streamlabs.com in BCH using Ledger Live.
Streamlabs still use legacy address. But it worked.

Unfortunately after many attempts I am not able to send BCH to a legacy adress using my bitcoin.com android wallet .....Always have the error message "invalid Address". I have to convert myself the streamlabs legacy address (copy/past in web-browser) to the new cash format address to be able to send the tip.

Can't android bitcoin.com wallet send BCH to old legacy format address ? Or did i miss something in the app'sconfiguration to be able to do it ?

Hello,

You shouldn't have any problems sending BCH to a "Legacy" address, from the Bitcoin.com wallet.
We did have a pop up on the last version that just warned users the legacy address they have entered can accept either BCH or BTC, and to be careful what you are sending.

If you are receiving an error of "invalid address" maybe the is a space in the address you have missed, or an extra character added by mistake.
