What are your opinions regarding the Blocksize-issue? are you for BIP100(increase of up to 17%)/BIP101(8 MB and up to GBs)/BIP103(2-4-8-32MB)?
Do you hold bitcoins yourself(in the trezor, web Wallet, mobile wallet or desktop wallet)?
What do you think of alt-coins such as Litecoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin?
What do you think about bitcoins future(block halvening, openbaazar etc)?
Hi Nyeko - Thanks for the Question
The Scaling events/conferences are doing well and should result in some consensus.
My opinion on the matter is that scalability should have been factored for long ago - with a well scheduled project plan to increase blocksize as required being part of the original code.
But since Satoshi or early developers did not do this, the best thing that can happen now is that we create a robust 10 year plan for block-increase now. I don't mind how much it increases now as long as the process goes through extensive testing and is peer-reviewed before implementation.
I hold my bitcoins using AirBitz Zero-knowledge wallet.
Altcoins that don't 'do' anything will go away over time.
Ethereum is going to change the world alongside bitcoin.
Block-halving will cause the new 'floor' in bitcoin's price to be $500 minimum.
Open Baazar will be used for drugs irrespective of what anybody says. It will trigger a hilarious series of lawsuits and overarching actions by US law authorities but it won't be taken down due to it's decentralized nature. OB will create a very interesting new paradigm shift and chances are they will disrupt Amazon but not immediately.
Thanks!
